You know those people that you meet and you instantly just feel happier by being around them. Craig & Eliza are those people! They have personalities that are absolutely infectious, and you cannot help but just smile and laugh when you are with them. We are so honored and glad that we were chosen to document this special time in their lives. Their whole wedding was an absolute blast.
I am breaking up their blog post into different sections, because there are just so many awesome images from their wedding that I can’t fit them all into one! So for now, you get to see their First Look/Formal session that we did back in June.
On the day we had these pictures scheduled it looked like the weather was going to hold out for us. But about 45 minutes before shoot time, it started pouring rain. Trust me, we know it was raining hard because we got caught outside in it! haha Beau and I had gone to Memory Grove Park to scope out some places before they got there, when it started raining we tucked under a tree to wait it out, nearly an hour later we realized that if we didn’t make a mad dash to the car we were going to get soaked anyways.
We luckily got about an hour of nice weather to do some portraits of Craig & Eliza at the park, and then a few on temple square, but again the wind picked up and it started to rain so we finished our session inside the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Craig & Eliza didn’t let the weather get their spirits down, they stood outside and let me grab a few shots of them with the dark clouds in the background and the wind blowing. They are some of my favorites!
Be sure to watch for more images from Craig & Eliza’s wedding in the next couple of weeks! You won’t want to miss them, they are beautiful!
