Happy Monday!! We hope that you have all been enjoying the new year and starting 2020 off with a BANG! I am just going to keep it short and get right to the point with Kenneth + Caylene’s engagement session!
We met these two for an early fall engagement session this past year. Meeting our couples before shooting their wedding day is a great way for us to break the ice. Along with the excitement, a lot of stress goes with a wedding day. An engagement session beforehand provides you a laid back environment to get to know each other better. Our couples are able to see how we shoot and pose, its great practice before the main event!
One crucial piece of information learned in this session was that our groom Kenneth is not the most comfortable behind a lens. Many can relate to his awkward feelings about being photographed. However, it’s not a problem for us, this information helps with how to approach and pose certain clients. We are all for making sure that our couples feel comfortable and relaxed. By the looks of these photos, I’d never guess that these two felt anything but in love!
Many people have their own preconceived notions of what their session is going to be like. Whatever they may be, we try to show that it can be a blast and easier than you may be imagining! I’m overjoyed with the shots of these two just laughing and looking like they are having the best time. In fact, most of the compliments I received from this shoot have to do with how authentic and effortless everything looked! (High fived myself for that one!)
Beau and I had a great time getting to know them. Even though it was a very HOT early fall day, they were troopers. To prevent melting in the sun we went quick but we still captured some really gorgeous lighting and early fall colors!
Stay tuned because we cannot wait to show you their wedding photos here in the next couple of weeks!
