We are so excited to be sharing with you Phillip + Sierra’s wedding from this past summer at Redfish Lake Lodge in Stanley, ID.
Mountains are Calling
If you have never been to Redfish Lake, go!
Naturally, when Phillip + Sierra asked us to be apart of their day, and it was going to be at this location, we were overjoyed!
It is one of our all-time favorite places in the whole entire world. Beau and I both grew up going there for family trips and reunions. We even started our love story here with our engagement. Of course, we are a little biased but this stunning place holds a special place in our hearts. I was honored to document another love story while we reminisced on ours.
Beau and I love beating the heat in August with a mountain wedding! It was warm enough to be comfortable and cool enough that you weren’t too hot. We did have a little rain move through during a couple of parts of the day, but it didn’t stick around too long. You never know with Idaho weather, sometimes you need to be prepped for all for seasons in just one day! haha
Ultimately, it was a beautiful day with beautiful people just asking my camera to capture it!
The team at Redfish Lake Lodge and the Party Center out of Twin Falls did a stunning job with the decor. The pinks and greys were a match made in heaven with the soft colors of the sand and the blues in the beautiful Sawtooth Mountains. The balance between the theme of this wedding and the natural beauty around us was simply harmonious!
And let’s mention those sunset portraits!! Wow! There is nothing I love more than a good golden hour session. You really truly cannot beat that warm golden light. We grabbed what we could while it peeked through the trees and then we slowly watched the sky change colors over and over again.
We would go back and do this wedding again in a heartbeat. Everything was absolutely magical and we are thrilled that we got to be apart of such a wonderful day!
Shoutout to the awesome Vendor team that day!
