Utah Engagement Photographer | Will + Brittney | Salt Lake City, UT – Great Salt Lake

Happy Friday!!! We hope that you guys are all gearing up to have a fabulous weekend! Beau and I are packing up the car and heading to Washington to celebrate the wedding of this adorable couple! Will & Brittney’s Salt Lake City engagement session has gone down in the books as one of my all time favorites!! You will definitely see why in a minute.
We started out our session in downtown Salt Lake City at Morris Reservoir Trailhead in Salt Lake City. This location is an absolute hidden gem. One minute you are in downtown Salt Lake, weaving through a bunch of homes and then BOOM you are in this whole other world that makes you feel lost in nature. After shooting here for a bit we headed out to the Great Salt Lake to finish up the evening.
A few days before our session at the GSL – a photographer had posted in a Facebook group that I am in that she had gotten eaten alive by bugs out there! I’ve heard stories of the bugs being terrible at the Great Salt Lake but having never shot there before I didn’t know what to expect. I asked around and found out that its really hit and miss, but if we bathe in bug spray we’d probably be fine. We took our chances and I am SOOO glad that we did! I don’t think we saw a single bug! It was absolutely magical. Mix that in with some random sail boats coming into shore and well…you can see why I said this is one of my favorites.
