Happy Monday!!! This past weekend we spent in sunny St. George getting some much needed sun and warmth! We camped with some cousins and it was so much fun to get out and be in nature for a couple of days! I took a run Saturday morning by Quail Creek Reservoir and it was so beautiful, and calm. Just what I needed to rejuvenate my soul!
I am THRILLED to share with you this engagement session. I know I say this a lot, but this is hands down one of my absolute favorite engagement sessions to date. Not only were Kade + Lauren an absolute dream to photograph. But the sunset that night was the most stunning I have ever seen. The sky was unreal, and seemed like cotton candy instead of clouds! Scroll down to see what I am talking about!
This session we did in October and got the perfect mix of fall colors and that last bit of summer green! We started our session at Paul Ream Wilderness Park in Provo, UT. This spot is perfect with trees and a nice little bridge. I am glad we started there and were able to get such pretty color! Then we headed out to Utah Lake, and were able to capture a couple other spots that had some of those fall tones. Then the magic happened. We headed out to the lake just in time for the sun to dip behind the mountains, and the sky turned into something from a movie or painting!! It lasted for only a couple of minutes and then was gone, and I am so glad that we were able to capture that color and everything!
I know I’ve talked about the locations and the weather, but I have to mention just how sweet these two are! Kade + Lauren became instant friends with us from the moment we met. They were down to earth, super funny, and totally in love with one another. Being around them was just easy and carefree and you can see in there images just how much fun they had being together during this shoot!
