Hello friends!! Hope you are having a fabulous day and enjoying spring break if thats where you are at in life! If Spring break doesn’t really affect you anymore (it makes no difference to us really haha)- then I hope you have a wonderful week and get out to do some adventures anyways!
We are excited for this weekend! Its my mom’s birthday, Easter weekend and I just love getting to take this time to reflect on the life of our Savior and is glorious resurrection! Such a perfect holiday to celebrate this time of year as the weather warms up and see the leaves and flowers coming back to life. Such a reminder to us that the seasons in our lives are never permanent. If you are currently in a ‘winter’ season, just know that spring can be just around the corner and that bright days are ahead of you!
Speaking of bright days, here is the second part of Rachel + Hayden’s wedding day! This is our last post for this beautiful couple, which makes me a little bit sad because we just love these images so much! But if you missed Part I – you can find it HERE. And you can view their wedding video blog post HERE.
Hayden + Rachel were married in the Provo City Center Temple in Provo, UT last May. It was a perfect 75 degree day and we could not have asked for anything better! For anyone who might not know, photography is not allowed in LDS Temples as a way to keep the ceremony sacred. So for our LDS couples we wait outside to capture them exiting from the temple as husband and wife. Its one of my favorite parts of these wedding days because of the absolute happiness that just radiates from our couples! They just can’t contain their excitement! After exiting the temple we were able to spend some time photographing these two with their families and friends! And of course we had to do a few more bride & groom shots, because well how can you not!
The next day we met back up with these two in Burley, ID at the Sweetheart Manor. Its a local wedding and event center and they do such a great job!! Beau and I had our wedding reception there! The new owners have really made some amazing updates and if you are thinking about getting married in the Burley area, you definitely want to check this place out! We loved the colors scheme that these two chose, and the way it all came together! Incorporating the natural elements of fruit and flowers with their cakes table and decor. Plus they had the COOLEST photo wall made to display images from their engagement session (which you can view HERE.) and our first look session. I am not going to lie, it was so neat seeing my work displayed all over the wall like that! It made me smile from ear to ear.
I could go on and on about these two and this wedding, but for now I will just let the images speak for themselves!
We did a few more bride and groom pictures on that day! And they are some of my favorites ever!!
Reception at Sweetheart Manor in Burley, ID! Complete with the most amazing custom photo wall and the prettiest cakes made by Rachel’s sisters!
